Arcanine

Arcanine appears several times in anime television. Many trainers have it, too. Arcanine can be captured in Pearl, Diamond, Heartgold, and Soulsilver, but it is a little less common to find than in Pearl and Diamond. Arcanine resembles a tiger, but instead, he has the DNA and the body of a dog. He is a fire type and evolves from growlithe into arcanine with a Fire Stone. Another fascinating thing about arcanine is that arcanine is half legendary and half pokemon, meaning that only part of his DNA allows him to be legendary. Ash does not have an arcanine, but there is recorded history of a battle: Ash's bayleef V.S ???'s arcanine. Arcanine is victorious in the episode. So as far as history goes, Arcanine has actually been around for a VERY long time.

Emboar

Emboar is a strong fire type from pokemon Black and White. I, myself have an emboar. The boys are stronger than the girls, as is for all starters. Emboar has not made any appearances in television, yet because the Black and White episodes have not been around long enough for anything like that to happen. Ash has a tepig, however. Tepig evolves into pignite at level 17, and pignite evolves into emboar at level 36. Emboar has a special way of communicating with other emboars, however. To communicate thoroughly, an emboar will blow fire from its snout in a special way, depending on what it is saying. The other emboar will respond with smoke if they are calm, but if the smoke blow was a mean communication, they will shoot fire out instead.

Infernape

Infernape is a fire type pokemon, and he resembles a primate known as the monkey, or an ape. He has been seen many times in manga version on television, making an appearance as Ash's infernape, or anyone else's infernape. Infernape can be seen on Diamond, Pearl, Soulsilver and Heartgold. As a chimchar, he was under a different man's command. He was harsh on chimchar and when he lost a battle, the man blamed chimchar for being such a weak pokemon. One day, when the man was battling Ash, Ash was victorious, and since the man hated his pokemon so much, he handed it to Ash. Today, infernape is a very popular pokemon, however pikachu remains most popular. Infernape is fighting/fire type and he is famous for winning a battle against electivire, using dig and then flare blitz.
